Continue to soften my heart, Father God...

I'll pour pure water over you and scrub you clean. I'll give you a new heart, put a new spirit in you. I'll remove the stone heart from your body and replace it with a heart that's God-willed, not self-willed. I'll put my Spirit in you and make it possible for you to do what I tell you and live by my commands. You'll once again live in the land I gave your ancestors. You'll be my people! DROWNING in GREATER GRACE...

I'm doing another Bible Study on James with Beth Moore.  Oh how I SOAK up her teaching more with each study!  Talk about soaking - I share this from Day 3, Week 5:
   "BUT HE GIVES GREATER GRACE!"  James 4:6a
   Beth says,  " Sink yourself into those 5 words until all your fears of failure, inadequacy, unforgiveness, & insufficiency DROWN."
(Let me tell you, my worst fear is drowning.)  
DROWNING in the GREATER GRACE of MY GOD sounds like the best way to go under!

 Beth goes on to say, "If greater grace does not mean greater victory, deeper depths, gladder joy, and higher heights with Jesus right here in this land of briers - what good is it?" (James 2:14a) 

The painful swim I've been through for the past 7 months has been such a massacre of sorts in my deepest parts!  World tipped upside down - I've found my heart, soul, mind & strength challenged to loving God deeper than I ever have!  

Holding my breath as I find more relationship with God's Word as the GREATEST oxygen, lets me know that Living Water is ALL I desire to keep me alive!  I must  submerge myself in His greater grace and mercy to that unknown point of dying to self!  Oh it has been a swim!  Upstream... downstream... white rapids... screaming... choking... so that I can barely take another dog paddle!  

My goal now is to begin to spurt out just a bit of this GREATER GRACE to the ones I need to...
I must tell you, I'm sporting the most Indestructible Life Jacket of Righteousness - - - so that when I do go under, He pulls my head back up & says again "I have GRACE that is GREATER than your woes!  MERCY that is deeper than the vast sins anyone has committed."  

Humbly... I walk WILLINGLY into the ocean of GRACE to get more ENGULFED by the waves so maybe I can drop just a trickle of it each day!
